CANNESERIES 2027: what to know before you go
Free, but booked in advance
The festival has been entirely free and open to everyone since 2018. You book an e-ticket on the festival website, up to four per screening, but it does not guarantee a seat: doors open an hour before, the organiser advises arriving 45 minutes early, and unclaimed seats are released fifteen minutes before the start. Cannes residents get access to ticketing a few days before it opens.
Where, and in which language
The Competition and Out of Competition series screen in the Palais’s Louis Lumière auditorium, the short and documentary series in the Jean Mineur auditorium. Series are shown in their original version with French subtitles, and English ones where available. Screenings are open from age 12, some sessions from 16, and the talks with the teams are mostly in French.
The industry programme
CANNESERIES Industry holds its third edition in February 2027, three days at the Palais. Its seven clubs are private sessions for producers, broadcasters, composers, screenwriters and casting directors, by invitation from the festival team.
